Lately, I have noticed there are a lot of online contests available. Even my blogging buddies have set up their own blog contests which I have enjoyed joining but have not won yet (cross-fingers). Isn't it so much fun to leisurely surf the net and find out about all these contests? Whether the prize is in cash or gift or anything, it's always a fun thing to join these types of online contests. If you are into this type of past time like I am, read the rest of my entry.
I have been wanting to blog about SportsVids for quite some time now. Sports vids stands for Sports Videos or Sports clips. It is very easy to join the this online sports videos contest. All you need to do is promote the site. The contest for promoting SportsVids.com is to drive visitors to our Web site. The top three contestants who refer the most people to the Web site will receive Sports branded prizes. You have to sign up as a SportsVids member in order to participate. Once registered, you will be presented with specific contest instructions on the Web site.
**The instructions will provide you with an account specific URL that must be copied to your blog post**Prizes include: 1. The new XBox 360, 2. Tickets to Michigan vs. Penn State, Saturday, October 18, 2008 and 3. $100 Gift Certificate from Dick's Sporting Goods. This contest runs till October 22, 2008. You can monitor your contest rankings in real time. There is an area on the main page of the SportsVids site which displays the top ranking users by points.

I had some slacking off weekend(again). Needless to say, I am addicted to sleeping (and eating) haha! Anyways, I have been compiling some photos of nice bags I saw over at an online shop who apparently has an online store software. If you are thinking of opening an online shop, you can't proceed with your business without a shopping cart software. How could your clients compile all of their wishlist or shopping stuff if you don't have a shopping cart software. Anyhow, if you need one, check out AmeriCommerce. They have everything you need to build and manage your online business. You could build, customize and analyze multiple online stores from one easy to use management console.

My dad used to be into herbal medicine and other alternative medicine. He got so curios that he even join some local groups and networks that focuses on this topic. By now, his interest on this topic has been lessen. He still buys some of his herbal medicine from time to time, though. Speaking of herbal medicine, I chanced upon this kratom while looking for a green tea brand. If you are interested in topics related to this, you can check out their site for more information. As for me, I still have a long day today and might read on this later.

One of the things I miss having a nanny for my toddler is that hubby and I get to spend some alone time, perhaps even a romantic getaway of some sort. You know as a couple you need this rare dates from time to time, away from all your parenthood roles and just catch up on your romantic sides. The only time that hubby and I get to have an alone time is when we leave our toddler with our in-laws which is very very rare, say 2x a month. At home, when the boy has hit the sack earlier than usual, we stay on the room and just munch on every chips we have and catch up with our DVD marathon. Probably, when my mom come to visit us, we could have this alone moments we have been longing for quite some time now.

My laptop crashing down most especially losing my files and photos would mean a slow death on my part. Imagine, losing all of those in one second yay! That is why I make sure to always and make time to back up my files and photos in a portable harddisk. But, if you have bigger datat that needs a Server Backup Software, in general, you might want to visit Syncsort Incorporated. They develop, market, and service high-performance software for data management and data protection. They are also one of the leading developer of high-performance data protection and data management software for mainframe, UNIX, Linux and Windows environments.

You might want to check out this Charter service online which entitles you to win a brand new Honda Civic Hybrid worth $24,000! All you need to do is order any charter service online at charter.com. Their services include cable, phone and internet services. Here are the details of the Honda Civic Hybrid: Polished Metal Metallic, Up to 45 mpg highway, Fabric interior, USB Audio Interface, 110-hp, 8 valve, SOHC i-VTEC® 4-cylider engine, Continuously variable transmission and with MP3 Auxiliary Input Jack. You can check out the complete Sweepstakes Rules HERE. I have seen this contest before when our cable, internet and phone service provider was acting up on us. You know how hassle it is to always call on them to check on their connections and availability not to mention that they have been printing incorrect bills. Good thing as hubby has patience and diplomacy in terms of talking and clarifying every single detail of the bill to a customer service agent. So far, we have not experienced any discrepancy in our bills and our connections are A-OK. But if you are looking for a cable, internet and phone connection service provider you might want to visit charter.com and who knows you might win that prestigious car.

For the past weeks, I was having dizziness and vomiting bouts (no I am not pregnant), and hubby suspects that I think I need to have my eye check again and would be needing new eyeglasses. I guess I have to listen to him this time. After all my long hours infront of the computer, my eyes might be really strained and tired, not to mention an escalating grade rate.
Speaking of glasses, there are new lenses from Zenni. You might have seen some positive reports about Zenni on Fox Newx TV, which I blogged earlier. They made recommendations on this brand. They have a wide collection of very stylish Prescription Glasses Online from $8. Isn't that really cheap. Their selection includes frames, with single vision lens, sunsensor (potochromic) lens, tinted sunglasses lens, bifocal lens and progressive lens. You can check out the site for new arrivals. Honestly, I have hesitations wearing eyeglasses because they do not look good on my face frame (hee, vanity here I come!). So I tried getting contact lenses which came out very uncomfortable and ended up using them only for a week. I guess I might give eyeglasses a 2nd try afterall the variety of designs at Zenni, I might be able to choose something that would enhance my features.

I do not know if you still can recall my Uncle's car which he won't let go of despite it conking out on him several times. Anyways, he finally had it processed by an auto body shop in the city which he found on the net. He was so happy that he is learning his little discoveries with the online world.
So, the next time you need auto body shops in your neighborhood, check the net for maps & reviews, & ratings of local body shops in the town where you live or work. You can also get online estimates and make an appointment right from your computer.

I am amazed by hubby’s cousins who are so much into cars. Whenever I am with them, I cannot relate with their conversations, they talk nothing but cars. No Kidding. In fact, they want me to blog about a site where they get some of their car accessories. If you are into cars and thinking of superturbo charging your cars with an audi turbo etc..., you can check out Turbochargerpros.com for all your turbocharging needs. They have everything you need to make your Audi, VW or any model blow the competition away. They also have an extensive inventory and full warranty.

With all the talks of my other blogging buddies regarding their web hosts conking out on them, the more I am convinced not to get one. You see, a couple of them have been encouraging me to consider getting one so it would be easier for me to consolidate and manage all of my photosites and blogs. But, I am allergic to change, really hee. I am the type of person who would veer away from learning the how tos, especially when it requires technicalities. Although, I know that the learning curve is minimal as compared to the time I will save when I have a web host and will be able to manage my blogs and sites under it. Anyways, to cut this entry short, I weighed the pros and cons and am now considering to get one. Although, I am not yet 100 percent sure about it, I am reading a lot of information and have been checking on web hosting rating, web hosting tutorials and web hosting awards from WebHostingRating.com. If you are a newbie on webhosting and is also currently checking on the best web hosts available, this is a good site to visit. They are trying to build the biggest searchable web hosting directory featuring complete information on all web hosting providers, all their web hosting plans, promotional and discount coupons, and unedited reviews by real customers. I have learned a lot about webhosting in this site and have shortlisted some webhosts. Also, I was able to compare the rates and features each webhost has to offer. But, will I be every ready for that big change aka consolidation? Or will I even have a time for the learning curve with all the things in my hands right now. We will see, I will let you know when I have a chose web host already.

I was too busy yesterday that I failed to blog about this week's simplicity tips from My Simpler Life. I have another entry after this that I would like to share to those who do not visit the My Simpler Life blog. It's really really nice. So watch out about that.
This week's simplicity tips is all about alone and quiet time. I love quiet time and as a Virgo, we need to find an alone time from time to time. It does not need to be a lucrative alone time at a Wilmington NC real estate property, just an alone time in the comforts of your bedroom or even bathroom. Read on:
1. Teach your family or yourself how to have a quiet time.
2. What is your motivation for simplifying?
3. Take at least 30 minutes this week in time alone.
4. What needs your attention this week?
5. Decide which hobbies and projects you want for this season and which you can let go until next season.
6. Look over your schedule. Is it realistic?
7. Enjoy visiting a farmer's market, fruitstand or pumpkin patch.

A construction is being done at the back of our house so my son's room's windows and kitchen windows are all dusty each day. Good that we have placed blinds underneath the curtains as you all know that blinds are easier to clean up than curtains and I think they control dust and dirts more than what curtains could do. Speaking of our blinds, I think I need to purchase some warmer colors at No Brainer Blinds. They have name brand products with lifetime warranties at absolutely the lowest price. All of their blinds are 1 year in warranty.

One of my favorite souvenirs when I travel are Magnetic signs or refrigerator magnets. Hubby and I love to collect them and they make good reminder of how many countries, states and cities we've visited. We hope to fill-up our current refrigerator doors by these magnetic signs and decors. However, we are also collecting those we get from birthday parties. In the recent one that hubby attended, we got a couple of magnetic signs. When we asked the celebrant where he got them, he said they were ordered online at vistaprint.com. In fact he sent us an email of their coupon discounts. It was so surprising as vista print sell out items at a relatively low low price and with their current discount coupons, they must be really cheap now. Check out the coupon codes & their corresponding discounts below if you want to order:

Hey, I'm back! Not so back yet but I am coping up with my regular schedule. I woke up extra energetic today, no bouts of fever, but I realized that I should never (EVER) abuse my body and mind again. I can only do so much and reserve my energy for more important things. So, I started by limiting my multitasking capabilities and catch up with my family and bestest friends through YM chat sessions. So, when I spoke with them, I turn off other windows, sorry twitterfriends and plurkville, I won't be as active as I was before. Like I said, I can only do so much. It's hard to confuse plurk and twitter windows with my family's & friends' YM windows LOL!
Anyways, as I was chatting with my friend, V, she asked me if I or hubby were into Poker as another friend of ours is the one of the head organizers of the leading national poker games back home. Unfortunately, we are not into this type of game. When hubby's friend told us about Poker Tables he found on the net particularly from American Gaming Supply, we just can't totally relate. But, we are open to learning this game. I heard it is so much fun! How about you have you enjoyed or tried playing poker games?
I'll be back for more updates later, ok?

Lucky are the moms who instantly get back with their pre-pregnancy weight. I was lucky then as after 2 months of giving birth, I was back in my old prenatal body. But I was so complacent with my body that I endlessly stuffed it with every chips and sweets that I crave. Now, that the fats have accumulated and is so hard to lose, I am paying for every little carbo, sweets and fattening food I ingested myself. Before I turned 30, I was really hoping to lose all 15 lbs off me but I was only able to lose 2 lbs, sad sad sad! It's true what they say, your metabolism slows down when you reached your 30s! I have a good pair of workout DVDs to come with my no-rice diet but I think I needed more. So when I saw XFLOWSION over the net, I wanted to research more about it and decide if I need to order one. What is nice about this is their revolutionary TRIPLE TRAINING™, is the ONLY exercise program that efficiently and effectively gives you all three workouts in one convenient workout, combining the proven best moves from martial arts, power yoga, and dance. You would not only sweat in this routine but the end results include body sculpting and shaping. Not to mention that is such a fun workout according to many users.
So, you might be wondering if I am going to get one, I think after my newly bought hiphop abs dvd do not work on me, I will.
