I must admit that the only reason why I still watch this cycle is because I feel that I have an obligation to blog it here. Since I started this series 2 cycles ago, I do not want to miss out on this cycle despite it being very dull and boring. ANTM Cycle 11: bye isis.
Not for anything else, I am just glad that Isis had to say buh-bye in the recent episode. She was becoming more and more uncomfortable with every thing about (and around) her and she was better off somewhere else but there.
On similarity note, don't you think my favorite ELINA and Julia Stiles look similar?

Just I as I thought I was feeling ok, I began to feel the chills again, felt really weak and had to rush in the CR. Looks like it's not just one nasty flu it is an intestinal flu. We gotta see the doctor later when hubby comes home.

Honestly, I am beginning to get tired of watching this cycle. I do not see anyone with the model potential save for ELINA (but who am I to judge :P), no wonder the ratings are getting lower and lower each episode. Also, I want Isis to be out the next season, she is not a top model material. ANTM Cycle 11: the 2 hour premiere.
I am 2 weeks behind my ANTM Cycle 11 entries :( Anyways, I'll try to catch up next week and post it a day after the weekly show.
To be honest, I have missed the 2-hour premiere and instead watched it in You Tube yay! I am quite disappointed with this cycle's contenders and is booting for only 2 girls, yes 2! And Isis, the tranny, Oh I don't think she/he has what it takes to be the next ANTM. Also, there are reports that their ratings went down to 11% uh-oh.

ANTM Cycle 11: Are you Ready For this?
If I could throw some virtual shout-out, that would go to my co-ANTM addict/blogging friends VAL & VANNIE!!!
I so can't wait for ANTM Cycle 10 which will premiere on September 3, 2008!!! with a 2-hour premiere, TFC babye na hahaha!!! (sorry I couldn't stop myself from typing so many exclamation points LOL!) Here are some bits and pieces of the new cycle that we are all awaiting: (SOURCE: wikipedia) - The winner will win management and representation by Elite Model Management, a $100,000 contract with CoverGirl cosmetics, and a cover and six-page fashion spread in Seventeen magazine.
- The promotional catchphrase of the cycle is "Feel The Love".
- The international destination for this cycle is Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
And here is the most awaited part: This cycle includes (for the 1st time!) a transgendered contestant to qualify in the 14 finalists. This is something to watch out for.
So, the rumors that the show has gone to a new management is so so not true as the 4 judges are still the same: Tyra, Paulina, Miss J., and (my) Nigel LOL!PROJECT RUNWAY PHILIPPINES: what do you say about this?

I have no qualms on us copying or franchising some international shows but they better make sure they do it good if not better. And I hope ABS don't pushthrough with their plan of having a gossip girl version, I just don't think they should. Philippine's Next Top Model for me was a flap. But I think Project Runway Philippines will be the opposite, looks very promising to me. Watch it!

After weeks of having no bouts of homesickness. I suddenly miss my mom. I want to watch this movie but it would be perfect if I watch it with her. I remember how we're both excited when we watched The Devil Wears Prada 2 years ago. I think this is a perfect mom-daughter movie. Oh well, I guess I have to set this aside for now and reserve watching this (in DVD na lang) until my mom comes over to visit us. Sigh.

I was all glued at TFC for the past 10 days to watch updates on Ces Drilon's Abduction. I am glad that they were freed. She talked about the traumatic but very enlightening experience she had with her kidnappers. Maybe, this one's a precaution to all the other very brave journalist in the Philippines. Steven Curtis Chapman's daughter Maria
While I was surfing on some school girl costumes for hubby's cousin, this is what I saw: Steven Curtis Champman's 5 year old Daughter, Maria dies in a tragic accident. It was very hard for me to decipher all the other happy events that happened before the tragic accident. Apparently, Maria's brother's SUV was the one who killed her while he was doing some backing on the driveway. Hubby left VERY early this morning and as I was preparing a very late breakfast for mini-stripe, I saw the note he left about the wine club he wants me to surf on. Yes, we are both certified wine lovers and he has been wanting to join this club eversince. But the procrastinator in me said to myself that I should be relaxing and watching Tyra or Ellen. So, as I was scanning the TV, I saw David Cook at Fox. He was misty eyed and I was really moved by his words: "Tonight will be a culmination of my hardwork. Who would have thought that the guitar my Dad gave to me at 13 will go along way." I bet David A. will win because he is more talented but I am rooting for David C. because he has the more star potential. So anyways, set your alarm and watch the big 2 hour American Idol Season Finale tonight at 8/7c! See you!

Do you remember her? Yes, she's the Chloe Dao of Project Runway 2 Big Winner. From all the designers who joined or won Project Runway, she's the only designer whom clothes I would wear. It depicts my feminine taste of clothing and her styles are very classic too, not too loud, not too designerish. I chanced upon her online store, called Lot 8. She has a shop and a salon in Houston and is planning to expand in the bigger cities of New York and L.A. Here are my current picks from her collections (I just wish I have the body for these clothes!!!), though her site seems not to be updated. But, nevertheless, it's worth your visit.

I know, I know Mother's day over! But this video is too hard to resist so I am posting it here. A friend sent it to me and I was just laughing the whole time hahah! On that day, my son greeted me for about 10 times only, whenever the phone would ring he'll blurt out: "Happy Mother's..." (yun lang nawawala lagi ang day LOL!). And yes he called me 'pretty mom' for the 1st time. Remember kids don't lie LOL!
