lifted from PerezHilton.

During the times that hubby and I were too caught up with the presidential debates, I was secretly following the developments on John Edwards campaigns. You know why? I had a secret crush on him hee. So imagine my dismay when he admitted on cheating his wife, Elizabeth.

I have spoken about my stand on extra-marital affairs which is a big NO-NO to me. If and when hubby committed this mistakes, there will be no room for forgiveness on my part. But, I have had friends who had forgiven their husbands or boyfriends for cheating on them and somehow my understanding on this matter has become wider than before. Still, I am hoping and praying I would never be in this kind of situation as I do not know if I could handle this gracefully like what Elizabeth Edwards is undergoing now.

Read her stand on the issue from: Perez Hilton.com

Our family has been through a lot. Some caused by nature, some caused by human weakness, and some most recently caused by the desire for sensationalism and profit without any regard for the human consequences. None of these has been easy. But we have stood with one another through them all. Although John believes he should stand alone and take the consequences of his action now, when the door closes behind him, he has his family waiting for him. John made a terrible mistake in 2006. The fact that it is a mistake that many others have made before him did not make it any easier for me to hear when he told me what he had done. But he did tell me. And we began a long and painful process in 2006, a process oddly made somewhat easier with my diagnosis in March of 2007. This was our private matter, and I frankly wanted it to be private because as painful as it was I did not want to have to play it out on a public stage as well. Because of a recent string of hurtful and absurd lies in a tabloid publication, because of a picture falsely suggesting that John was spending time with a child it wrongly alleged he had fathered outside our marriage, our private matter could no longer be wholly private. The pain of the long journey since 2006 was about to be renewed. John has spoken in a long on-camera interview. Admitting one's mistakes is a hard thing for anyone to do. I am proud of the courage John showed by his honesty in the face of shame. The toll on our family of news helicopters over our house and reporters in our driveway is yet unknown. But now the truth is out, and the repair work that began in 2006 will continue. I ask that the public, who expressed concern about the harm John's conduct has done to us, think also about the real harm that the present voyeurism does and give me and my family the privacy we need at this time.

PROJECT RUNWAY PHILIPPINES: what do you say about this?

If you haven't heard about this yet (or am I too late to blog about it), you gotta watch the 1st season's 1st episode in full at bryanboy.com and tell me your thoughts?

I have no qualms on us copying or franchising some international shows but they better make sure they do it good if not better. And I hope ABS don't pushthrough with their plan of having a gossip girl version, I just don't think they should. Philippine's Next Top Model for me was a flap. But I think Project Runway Philippines will be the opposite, looks very promising to me. Watch it!

who's who in the all-new 90210?

Are you a big fan of 90210? I was. I have been following them when they were still on air. The show will be back on air but with completely new cast save for some who will join the new group. Check this out for the all-new 90210 Cast's photo slideshow.

AE's model...

Kamukha talaga siya ni Heart Evangelista, I swear!Do you remember this post? Eversince, I have been following this AE model. I hope she's half-Asian (at least) if not half-Filipino. I find her beauty really simple but very natural. You see, I have this thing for American Brands who feature Asian Models after the Tommy Hilfiger scandal. Then again, it happened to Hollister when they declared that their tees are for Westerns only. So when my cousin and I saw this Hollister modelling in one of their branches in Vegas, we were surprise to find out that they feature an Asian model. Hmmm, change of times?

I guess if you want your brands to be global, forget racism and think global. Peace.

i want my mama!

After weeks of having no bouts of homesickness. I suddenly miss my mom. I want to watch this movie but it would be perfect if I watch it with her. I remember how we're both excited when we watched The Devil Wears Prada 2 years ago. I think this is a perfect mom-daughter movie. Oh well, I guess I have to set this aside for now and reserve watching this (in DVD na lang) until my mom comes over to visit us. Sigh.

havis on SATC

Got this from the havaianasPH newsletter: ( i tell you, ngayon pa lang nauuso ang havaianas dito at ang mahal pa ha!)

Apart from their impeccable fashion sense and eclectic style, Carrie, Samantha,
Charlotte and Miranda have much in common with Havaianas: their love for all
things fun, functional, and fashionable. And there’s nothing like an endorsement
from the fabulous foursome of HBO’s Sex and the City to seal a fashion staple’s
style status: check out Park Avenue Princess Charlotte York, played by actress
Kristin Davis, at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week toting the Havaianas “Candy” ad in her hands.

The “Candy” ad campaign was created by Brazilian agency AlmapBBDO especially for the United States. Its special appearance on the big screen version of Sex and the City pleasantly surprised both the agency and Havaianas brand executives.

sayang... (part 2)

Another horrible performance of Amy Whine (este) Winehouse. This time she nudged and punched a fan. tsk tsk. True enough, all the drugs she took are going up on her brain. Sayang talaga tsk tsk. Watch her Nelson Mandela disaster performance 3 entries below.

sayang...

Why do people with so much talent waste their time, money and throat on drugs? Sayang super! I hope she'll get help before it's too late and we'll all just meet her at the crossroads.

party poPPer!

Finally, a SOLID reason to close down the Embassy Bar.

according to a text message to PEP:

In a text message received by PEP at 9:48 p.m., he said (published as is): "We are currently investigating the incident (a fist fight that occured this morning) alongside the Taguig city mayors office. After we sort out the incident and file an official report to the police, which we are doing now as we communicate, we intend to reopen. Right now, Embassy Cuisine, Cafeteria and Members Only are all open."

and HE IS feeling vindicated at this moment.

oh ces, be careful next time.

I was all glued at TFC for the past 10 days to watch updates on Ces Drilon's Abduction. I am glad that they were freed. She talked about the traumatic but very enlightening experience she had with her kidnappers. Maybe, this one's a precaution to all the other very brave journalist in the Philippines. Listen to her 1st press release.

in the midst of SATC the movie!...hee

This is just too funny to pass.

I never really liked her, but I must admit she has this unique kind of beauty and the "it" factor when carrying those designer clothes, shoes and bags not to mention THE accessories!!! Anyways, if not for Sex and The City, I wouldn't like her at all.

Sorry SJP's fans but THIS SITE just won't let me stop from giving out major LOLZ! Check out more comparative photos here: http://www.sarahjessicaparkerlookslikeahorse.com/.

Steven Curtis Chapman's daughter Maria

While I was surfing on some school girl costumes for hubby's cousin, this is what I saw: Steven Curtis Champman's 5 year old Daughter, Maria dies in a tragic accident. It was very hard for me to decipher all the other happy events that happened before the tragic accident. Apparently, Maria's brother's SUV was the one who killed her while he was doing some backing on the driveway. You can click on the link for the whole story and here's a blog made in memory of the very energetic and free-spirited, Maria: in Memory of Maria.

I Will Be Here(Steven Curtis Chapman)

Tomorrow morning if you wake up
and the sun does not appear
I will be here
If in the dark, we lose sight of love
Hold my hand, and have no fear
'Cause I will be here

I will be here
When you feel like being quiet
When you need to speak your mind
I will listen
And I will be here
When the laughter turns to cryin'
Through the winning, losing and trying
We'll be together
I will be here

Tomorrow morning, if you wake up
And the future is unclear
I will be here
Just as sure as seasons were made for change
Our lifetimes were made for these years
So I will be here

I will be here
And you can cry on my shoulder
When the mirror tells us we're older
I will hold you
And I will be here
To watch you grow in beauty
And tell you all the things you are to me
I will be here

I will be true to the promise I have made
To you and to the One who gave you to me

Tomorrow morning, if you wake up
And the sun does not appear
I will be here
Oh, I will be here.

the other side of Dyesebel.

Have you seen this? Nagpapakashowbizz na naman si Something Purple LOL!

I never really liked her and never was a fan of Kapuso channel hee! I know I have my own anger management issues but then again if you're a star, I think you should very well know how to handle your anger issues in public. But then, I am not a star LOL! Anyways, read her side of the story HERE.

set your alarm at 8/7c tonight.

Hubby left VERY early this morning and as I was preparing a very late breakfast for mini-stripe, I saw the note he left about the wine club he wants me to surf on. Yes, we are both certified wine lovers and he has been wanting to join this club eversince. But the procrastinator in me said to myself that I should be relaxing and watching Tyra or Ellen. So, as I was scanning the TV, I saw David Cook at Fox. He was misty eyed and I was really moved by his words: "Tonight will be a culmination of my hardwork. Who would have thought that the guitar my Dad gave to me at 13 will go along way." I bet David A. will win because he is more talented but I am rooting for David C. because he has the more star potential. So anyways, set your alarm and watch the big 2 hour American Idol Season Finale tonight at 8/7c! See you!

Lot 8 Boutique.

Do you remember her? Yes, she's the Chloe Dao of Project Runway 2 Big Winner. From all the designers who joined or won Project Runway, she's the only designer whom clothes I would wear. It depicts my feminine taste of clothing and her styles are very classic too, not too loud, not too designerish. I chanced upon her online store, called Lot 8. She has a shop and a salon in Houston and is planning to expand in the bigger cities of New York and L.A. Here are my current picks from her collections (I just wish I have the body for these clothes!!!), though her site seems not to be updated. But, nevertheless, it's worth your visit.

ANTM CYCLE 10 SEASON FINALE- The BIG Winner!

Without Further Much ado...

Here are the YouTube Videos of America's Next Top Model CYCLE 10, all 5 parts of it.
And Yes, Whitney is the very 1st Full-Figured not Plus-Sized model to win the competition.

You'll find out why she won over the very consistent weekly challenges winner, ANYA.
Whitney definitely humped and rocked the runway *not to mention she was piercingly beautiful, Anya's Dresses were too tight for her to give her best runway walk and Fatima, she was out.

See on September for ANTM CYCLE 11!!!
Now on to American Idol's season finale on Thursday!

my son is an addict.

You will not believe who won the ANTM cycle 10 hihihii. I was shrieking the entire time! But, that post will have to wait on friday when someone kind uploads the 13th episode in YouTube.

This is my weekend snapshots entry for this week. I wanted to share it here too. My son is an addict, he is obssessed with Transformers! He would watch transformers the movie (yes not the animation) 3x a day. So, here are photos of my 3-yr-old son's transformers toy collection.

ANTM REMINDER: the final battle TOMORROW

Reminding all ANTM fans, tomorrow's the big day.

To get everyone ready for tomorrow's cycle finale, here's a YouTube video summarizing all the photos of the top 3: Anya, Fatima and Whitney! I am so excited about this final show that I have told hubby NTHless time to remind me about it tomorrow.

Don't forget tomorrow night 8/7 C.

ANTM cycle 10 episode 12-Finally SHE's GONE! and my other discoveries...

Here's my very delayed ANTM entry for this week.

In summary:
FINALLY, Dominique was booted out yahoo! Can't wait for her to leave and I have to agree with Ms. J that she's half man hahahah! I was laughing the entire time when he said that Cover Girl covers the man in a woman LOL! Dominique really looks like a man. I am so proud of Whitney for doing really good in this week's photoshoot, finally a plus-sized model in the final battle. She really has the prettiest face.

After hating Dominique so much during the entire cycle, I discovered these series of interview of girls booted out in YouTube. And yes, I was delighted with her interview, she was after all an all-natural kind of girl and could inject humor in her witty remarks. She also got her extensions back which made her look less-manly. So, make-overs in ANTM are not really the best afterall.

'
I am also posting Katarzyna's interview. She is still the boring person we know and what's up with her hair and her choice of clothes color (earth colors ALL THE TIME, which elaborates her dull personality) and I guess she lost a lotta weight.
so are you ready for the final 3 battle on wednesday?

ANTM's (my) NIGEL (WAS in Manila!!!).

I survived my Midterms, oh yes I did! So, after the gruelling and nerve-wracking week, I am just glad that the week's about to end. TGIF indeed! While I was having a very neat breakfast with stripe and mini-stripe this morning, I was sooooo overly surprised to hear Nigel Barker mentioning her experience with an avid fan in Manila in TODAY's Tyra Show! Holy Cow! How could I've missed this scoop tsk tsk. Sayang wala nako sa Manila, I could have probably lined up at the Ayala mall and took a photo with him LOL! The fan apparently showed Nigel a tattoed picture of him on the fan's left or right arm?!??! The fan is a HE by the way, a photographer I think. Anyways, here's Sam Oh's interview of Nigel Barker during his visit in Manila. Sam is so conscious and uneasy, I would have been too, with Nigel talking to me and staring me at the eye sigh.

And yes, next week is the final battle of ANTM's Cycle 10 yahoo! I'm going to blog about this week's episode and some more inside scoop tomorrow, I am just too sleepy right now.

Do you think ANTM is ready for a plus-size model? Will Whitney win? Abangan...
