I just arrived home after a photoshoot with a VERY very nice Brazilian model named Fabi, which ended at 2am! We started at 8:30pm and finished 7-9 pegs in 6 hours, whoa that was fast, considering that we were kinda low in energy from 11pm till the end of the shoot. Mind you the layouts were not ordinary, they're major pegs again! Each of them! My favorite was how we turned the very elegant Fabi into Lolita, the lollipop lover!!!
It was I, who requested that we do the shoot that late, because our kotsecar and my brother's are number-coding, oh yes both of them, ang saya di ba! So the least I could do was to be chirpy and not complain even a tiny bit. Eventhough the entire time, I wanted to watch Gretchen Baretto's guesting in deal or no deal and finish reading my interrupted YES magazine-Pops' revelations!
This is the 1st time I've done a face of a foreigner, meaning not mixed-race or half-filipino&half-whatever but pure pure as in PURE Brazilian! But boy was she the best person I've worked with (buti na lang!). No qualms, no complains, very very professional! And to think she was a professional model and celebrity/actress back in Brazil. We were practically playing and having fun on the set the entire shoot. When we were done with the last layout, instantly Mark, the stylist and I played with the props and grabbed the photographer's pro cam and took our photos, hahaha! What fun! Fabi's husband was laughing just by watching us and even volunteered to take our photos. My oh my I'll surely miss working with these 2 wacky and creative minds, Rhea (the photographer) and Mark (the stylist). Hay nako naka arbor pa ako ng black newyorker jacket kay Mark! Salamatski!
Shoutout to Rhea, (I know you are silently reading my blog, LOL!) email the pics na soon! Hyper na hyper pa ako at this hour! Must be your jelly worms and nerds!

Here is mark taking his new role as the photographer and I was his mowdel.
=============
Yesterday, I was privileged to be invited in the exclusive TV and Film make-up workshop conducted by Paul&Joe's Chief International Make-Up Artist, Craig Ryan French! held in Ascott Hotel (formerly Oakwood). I was star-strucked and Harold was kilig na kilig hahah! He really was goodlooking and reminded us of one of the Fab 5 of queer eye... His tricks of the trade were never been heard before. The glueing of skin in the eyelids was a show stopper talaga! Ganito kasi yun after putting on the false eyelashes using a surgical glue, yes you heard me right---a surgical and not spirit gum(i've had bad experiences with spirit gums!), put a little more glue on top of the skin and then pull out or kinda stretch more skin to be glued overlapping another skin, dilat na dilat ang effect ng mata!.
We chatted with him every opportunity we get and ate snacks with him in 1 table! He is the kind of make-up guru I look up to, very down to earth, doesn't name the celebrities he's done and wanted to share how he can change one's outlook in life thru make-up. That's my idea of the real power of make-up that every woman can be whatever they want to be thru the make-up power.
