The “Candy” ad campaign was created by Brazilian agency AlmapBBDO especially for the United States. Its special appearance on the big screen version of Sex and the City pleasantly surprised both the agency and Havaianas brand executives.

of course not. nauso to dito kasabay lang sa pinas. summer 04 sila nicole richie naka feature na sa magazines wearing havis pero some people preferred other brands like abercrombie, ae etc.
thanks for correcting me anonymous, but from my perception it is only now that the brand has been marketable here.

tama em matagal na yan kaya lang di masyado mabenta dito sa US ang havis kasi nga daming brands na pwedeng pagpilian isa na dun yung sa victoria secret na ang gaganda din ng tsinelas at very colorful =) kasabay din yan crocs na ang mga nakikita kong nagsusuot eh puro bata lang hindi katulad sa pinas na grabe halos lahat yata naka -crocs na dun kahit mga barko ang itsura ng crocs cge parin ang bili ng mga pinoy hehehe...ano nga ba tawag sa style na yun?

ilang summers na ang lumipas ngayon lang siya napansin sa US even last year nung pinromote siya ni oprah di siya napansin, siguro lately lang nila napansin ang comfort that havis bring.
cayman's ang tawag dun and people buy them for comfort i meant pinoy buy them for comfort (i should think not for anything else) i see a lot of men and moms here wearing them not only kids though

I love Sanuk! Mas gusto ko sya actually kesa sa Crocs kaso made of fabric so dapat lagi linisin para di mag harbor ng vakteereeya!!! Plus, limited ang colors. Lam mo naman ako... it's either black or bonggacious ang colors! LOL!
